Fuel Filter Replacement

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry XLE V6 and the fuel filter has never been replaced. I am planning on replacing it tomorrow, but before I do, is there any real difference in fuel filters?

Thank you in advance,
CCM

I actually haven't had any problems at all with the car, especially the engine. I just think it would be a good idea to replace the fuel filter to make sure things stay that way. What a tragedy for the man with the Lincoln.

I want to replace it with a Fram fuel filter, but it is out of stock, so before I head back to school I am going to replace it with a Mr. Gasket Fuel Filter Clearview. It's not a brand I have ever heard of which is the huge downside, but I think being able to see the fuel pass through the filter is kind of cool. I will replace it when the Fram is back in stock at Easter Break.

One more question for you, do you think that a fuel additive such as IsoHeet will hurt the fuel filter?

Thank you for all of your help,
CCM

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement

Considering a very bad reputation of Fram and I would spend couple extra bucks and get OEM.

The original filter lasted you FIFTEEN years... I guess with no problems!

Excellent point that I would do well to remember. That is exactly what I am going to do.

Thank you,
