Look at it this way. The very large majority of people who can afford to buy the best cars buy German. That to me proves they are the best, without a shadow of a doubt

That's true that if you want a good car for every day and you have enough money (more that 50 000 €), you'll buy a German car... and an Italian one for the WE
But under this price, some people do hesitate between Swedish, other Italian (Alfa, Lancia, etc.), and French car of course.

well it´s only the image of bmw mercedes and porsche and audi...
they are not so good like all say... maybe a little better in quality. they also have many problems with electronic and so on... |

jsb88 : exact, it's a good summary !
American 4x4 have a very nice looking, particularly the Navigator and Durango. And European cars are still the best with some japanese one (NSX, Impreza WRX).
