Re: Re Audio Components
Yes they're very good for the money......they're not tthe greatest things in the world though..... They're pretty bright and a little harsh, but not anything horrible.... for the money that and the CDT Ef-61 set are great.

Re: Re Audio Components
do you mean the mid and tweet on 1 channel?
or do you mean both mids and both tweets on 1 channel? if it's the former, yes, that's what the crossover is for, it splits the frequency so the lows go to the mid and the highs go to the tweet, and the amp still sees a 4ohm load on that channel if it's the latter then yes, but then you'll be sending the same signal to both your R and L speakers (or R front and R back, depending on which pair you're wiring to the single channel). Your amp will also be running at 2ohm on that channel, which should be fine for just about every 2ch amp out there.

Re: Re Audio Components
you could run 25 speakers on a 2ch amp if you wanted to, as long as you watch the impedance

Re: Re Audio Components
for a single set of components on a 2ch amp, you would run wire from the +/- on one channel to the +/- on the input of the crossover, then from the +/- woofer output to the woofer, and the +/- tweeter output to the tweeter. Then the same goes for the other channel.

Re: Re Audio Components
eh?
a common crossover will look like this: there's a + and - input that comes from the amp, a + and - output that goes to the woofer, and a + and - output that goes to the tweeter

Re: Re Audio Components
what im trying to say is that will their be a wire connecting the twoo woofers together and the twoo tweeters together, or will two wires go from each, on to on woofer and the next to the other woofer

Re: Re Audio Components
well if you're putting a single set of speakers (2 mids, 2 tweets, 2 xovers) on a 2ch amp then each side (each xover/mid/tweet set) will have its own individual channel of the amp, you won't wire them to each other at all. If you're putting 2 sets of speakers (4 mids, 4 tweets, 4 xovers) on a 2ch amp then you would connect each channel on the amp to the inputs on 2 xovers, and each xover will have its own mid and tweet.

Re: Re Audio Components
so that would be connecting the positive of one crossover input to the positive of the other input, and then connecting one of the postives to the postive input for the amp. and the same with the negatives

Re: Re Audio Components
yeah, if you wanted to put 1 set of speakers (2 mids, 2 tweets, 2 xovers) on 1 amp channel. I'm guessing you want to do this so you can have the front and rear speakers all running on a 2ch amp? If so that will work, just keep in mind that you'll lose the ability to fade.
