questions about street glow
hey wuz all. i have a 2000 civic and i have two ten inch street glow sticks and two eight inchers. i am going to put won under my front seat and teo under the dash. but i wont them to be hooked up to my doom light. i only wont them to come on when i open my doors or when i turn on my doom light from above. and when i turn off my interior doom light i wont them to go out too. does anybody know of the wire that i am going to have to hook up too to make this happen. thanks for all the help.

just hook them up to your dome light.
you are going to have to go through your roof line to find the wire that you need to split. once you found it, just split the wire from there and you should be fine. if possible, split your wires AFTER the switch, that way you won't have to add another one to turn off the lights. NOTE....i'm not sure how true this is, but I have heard that you shouldn't flash your neons on and off so many times. It's safer to leave them on for a constant amount of time and not flash them. I know they are not blub and will not burn out, but you could burn out the power supply. Double check on me with that though to make sure. |
