Problem with Driver Side Door Latching

I've been having problems with my drivers side door properly latching this winter when it it's frigid cold, snowing and a bit icy and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem to see if there was a resolution?

Yes it is quite common with BMW CARS... ESPECIALLY DURING THE WINTER. NO NEED TO WORRY IT IS DUE TO THE METAL CONTRACTION DURING WINTER....
