Post 2002 California International Auto Show *PICS*

I took all these pictures yesterday. The show is in Anaheim, California. It ends Sunday.

I would be a poor photojournalist... I only take pictures of things I like. I really remember taking more that this, but oh well...

Can you tell what cars I like?

I like this angle:

This car looks weird to me... Maybe it'll grow on me...

They had all the fancy cars crammed in one section...

Damn autofocus!

Three Ferraris, four Diablos... The black Diablo had red trim around the taillights. Super-cool!

Thanks to abstract, I recognized this Alpine edition as such when I saw it.

And this one (not Alpine ed.) looks like the same color as abstract's car.

I was really impressed with the WRX. Really, really. I'm going to test drive one next week.

They had the WRX rally machine, too... Awesome!!!

These two Rally Foci are actually the same car... labeled #3 on one side with the #3 drivers, #4 on the other. Nice car, though. I hope it was real, because it lookes as rugged as the WRX.

There is a whole section for souped-up mucle cars, street rods, low riders and lead sleds. Some were really nice and clean:

...Some were odd...

This is the same concept Viper that was in L.A. in January, but now I got picture without people wandering through...

Ford Forty Nine. Concept car. I just like it. I like it better than the new Tbird...

No explanation necessary:

Chevy has this Mako Shark Sting ray in with its Corvettes. Awesome car, but I was surprised it's only in fair condition...

I think we were the only people to get near the Aztek. And we were laughing the whole time. And, yes, it's ugly on the inside, too. :hehehe:

No, not very big at all. Way smaller than the L.A. show. That, and I got kinda "camera-lazy" by the time we got to the far end of the hall.

I wish I'd taken pics of the SLK32 AMG I sat in... and the CL55 AMG. Those were nice.

went to this show earlier today.

I gotta agree on the Ford '49 concept.... I like it better than the tbird, and I got a tbird!

I was pissed you couldn't sit in the porsches, and some of the others.... I mean, it's a freakin' auto show!!

the Infiniti booth said next year for the G35,
and the Nissan chick said at the LA show will be the Z.

Overall, I thought the show was pretty average, but there was a bar and margaritas! So that makes up for anything!:smoka:

And no Sentra SE-R, either. And it comes out next month!

Did you notice that Saleen wasn't there? They were supposed to be where the Speed Racer cars were. Rip-off!!!

But you could sit in the CL55 AMG, a $109,000 car. Nice!
