What is the max hp that we can get out of a zx2? And will it be hard to install it?

Re: how much?
i dunno it depends on what you keep and what you toss. if you disable the VCT < if thats what you have i hear you can get substantially higher numbers then if you keep it... granted there is a too much category where you stop having a street car and start having a strip car... so if you specify what you are looking for we might be able to help.

Re: how much?
full boltons, good condition motor and goot SCT tune With VCt will give you about 145hp/142tq at the wheels. thats roughly 175 crank.

Re: how much?
there is also that role of thumb on transmissions: manual is about 25% (?) reduction, and auto is about 40%

Re: how much?
sweet, 25 was an average. is there a way to bring that down? i know on auto's you can find more efficient torque converters (ussally smaller) and shift kits help too... but thats more on putting power to the ground.

Re: how much?
15% is the general assumption, its 25-30% est. for auto's
for a manual the onlything you can do is get a lightweight flywheel, and a good strong/lightweight clutch. and that wont help a LOT just a small bit. but a tranny in good shape is always better then a beat one.
