Question ZX2 vs. Probe GT

How much money/work would it take to get a ZX2 to match a Probe GT, 1/4 mile anyway...??

I have a 89 and 93 Probe GT. Both of which would walk all over my girlfriend's ZX2. It's an auto, I know they are slower, but even an MTX wouldn't be that much closer. However ZX2's are very cool cars (that's why I'm on this site). I would say you would need a bunch of bolt ons a MTX and a good driver to beat one.

Not to brag, but I did race an S/R (yes I actually talked to the guy). It was yellow, had the 15" rims, and the S/R badging. Anyways, I did a run against him on the freeway. My car is stock for now and that's not a "ricer's for now" who would intend on keeping it stock forever, I have a ton of parts ready to go in. Anyways, back to the race, we did a pull on the freeway. I pulled on him down the on ramp and kept on going all the way down the freeway (5-10mph or so). I guess what I'm saying is not all Probe owner's are ricers. They are a car to watch out for.

Re: ZX2 vs. Probe GT

lol, MTX's are a second faster at least than it's ATX counterpart.

and s/r's have 16's stock... plus, no offense but a properly driven s/r would be pretty much even w/ a properly driven probe stock for stock. need i ask if you were stock?

I knew I'd be off in one of the specs! Whoops. At least I knew they had different rims. I was just compelled to write that after what was posted about Probe's being slow.

Sure... If you want. I live near Duluth, MN.

Here's the PGT I still have... I'm trying to sell it:

Unless your turbo, have a well built motor, or he cant drive you will loses.

Stock a Probe GT is even w/ a ZX2, but a KLZE wiht boltons and good driver can run w/ stock 99-04 mustang GT's (low 14's)
