Blue fluid in a 98 Bravada transfer case?
Hi all. I have a 98 Bravada with the NVG 136 transfer case. All the docs say the 99 and up get the blue fluid. Can anyone tell me for certain that my 98 needs the blue stuff? Ive had problems with my awd. Encoder motor was bad so I replaced it and changed the fluid but used Dexron like it said in All data. Now i'm like in a 4 low mode where the wheels bind up pretty good. Also when you take the encoder motor off, the lever on the TC is straight up and down. Does anyone know which direction this lever needs to go for different modes?
Any help appreciated |

Yes, the blue Autotrac II lube is what goes in your '98 Bravada.
Sorry, I don't know what position the encoder lever goes. |
