Scan Tools under $200

Does anyone have any experience with the actron 9145 or 9180. It looks to me like the 9145 is the better scanner, but it cost about 50 dollars less. I want to be able to get codes, and read live data. It seems that both will perform those functions, but there has to be a difference between the two, but I have no clue what it is. Anyone?

Re: Scan Tools under $200

It is made by SPX,it is junk and SPX is a no caring company.Their service sucks.I boycott anything made by SPX.SPX screwed my Grandma Rose in the 1960s,My grandfather on my father's side worked worked there for 19 and half years, died of a heart attack at age 39.They sent her his 20 year pin and denied her his retirement money becuase he did not work there enough to get it.She has not recieved it to this day, they took it and she cannot do anything about.SPX products are junk,my father has a Robinair A/C machine that was a POS since day one, still has it not being used and would not do any warranty work on it erasing his info.

Re: Scan Tools under $200

I bought a 9180 last year and have used it a few times with no problems. I like it.
