fuel pump

02 f-150 v6 excab.....should I be able to hear my fuel pump when I turn on the key?

Turn the key to the on position and you should hear the fuel pump engage for enough time to pressurize the system. Normally about 1 second to do it. It will always do it as part of the check, so you can turn it off and back to on again and it should engage.
