Who has experience with E85?
Hey, who has experience with E85? I'm considering using it a Pontiac RA III with Thermoquad and manual trans. What do I need to know?

Re: Who has experience with E85?
Don't do it.
The alcohol may well ruin anything made of rubber in the fuel system, including O-rings, lines and possibly the resin (plastic) float bowl in your Thermoquad. Also your jetting will be off (too lean for alcohol). You will be down on power with poor running. you can convert your car to run on E85 or gas with a kit. I have no idea of their effectiveness Look here: http://www.ehow.com/how_6016366_conv...5-ethanol.html |

Re: Who has experience with E85?
This is relevant only for EFI systems that are E-85 compatible. All others cannot use E-85 under any circumstances, unless properly converted.
