PistonHeads owner speaks up! A must-read.

The unnamed owner of an F1 road car that I mentioned in the earlier thread has now broken his silence and made his first post. And he has made QUITE the entrance!

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=116008

Grab a cup of coffee - it's riveting reading.

Is this the singularly most verbose public posting of the experience of owning an F1 ever made? Certainly seems like it.

And Erik, you were right - it is the blue car. How did you come to that conclusion?

We could have continued this discussion in the original thread...

Anyway, my guessing it was the blue car was merely a guess. You could call it an educated one if you want, but truly it was speculation based on the location and the fact that the owner has spent some time at the track.

I read through his first post, but haven't time to read all the replies yet. I'll try to pop into that thread later. I have a PH account, but currently can't recall the password for it and don't have access to the email account I used to register it.

Re: PistonHeads owner speaks up! A must-read.

Hello,

Thanks ! l will read that.

I agree with peloton, I have also thinked about the light blue one because it has alredy been viewved (Dijon, Magny-Cours, Nurburgring, etc...) and that his owner was unknown.

Ciao

For anyone who wanders in here, there's this set of photos of 'flemke's F1 that many will enjoy:

http://www.benphotos.net/auto.php?idcateg=38

I didn't check each one, but I know that most are uploaded at 1024x768 for your viewing pleasure.

There are some other photos on the bookatrack.com website, but you'd have to search there for them yourself as I don't have a handy link.

We don't know - and the previous numbers that were speculated will now prove to be incorrect as we were guessing based on the color of the car, and in his first post he confirmed the car was originally silver/grey. If I can ever get over there and post, I do plan to ask if he minds sharing that info.

This is a great read! Two F1 owners opening up and sharing their ownership is fantastic to say the least. I think I want one more than ever now!

do you also think, that he's talking about thomas bscher???we all know about his speed.....

Hello,

a unique thing is strange for me : he hit the rev-limiter 221mph and I heard Thomas Bscher hit 368 km/h (228mph).
