Re: Evo II or Evo Turbo Exhaust
You should get a 3" cat-back one for your car. APEX'i makes the N1 for the 2G Eclipse turbo FWD, and that will only require slight modification of the hangars to fit properly. Or, you can visit http://www.eclipseforums.org/forum113.html and find out that a company does make 3" cat-backs strictly for the 3G, called Accelerated autosports.

Re: Evo II or Evo Turbo Exhaust
i say, plan ahead but within means, performance parts get cheaper over time and if u buy the greddy or other now, htey'll be cheaper by the time you go to switch exhaust, and u have all the depreciation value going on, not to mention...ur buying 2 dif. exhaust, 2.5" is not that restrictive for a turbo system, but then again its not ideal
if u do go w/ 3" XI racing was making an exhaust that would yield hp and torque gains even though it is large enough to diminish backpressure, but most 3" exhaust will eliminate necessary backpressure and ur car will lose some oomph til u get hte turbo
