Tamiya Honda RC213V 2014 Super detail-up set

Hi all builders,

that would be an amazing experience to join the builder community. As a detail lover, I'm working on building RC213V along with Top Studio RC213V Super detail-up set. To be honest, it's my first build, so I don't gain much experience especially working PE, resin and so on. Right now, I'm struggling with the top studio exhaust pipe, it combines the PE and resin. I'm not sure which is the best way to curl and bond the PE around the end of the pipe.

Any guides, suggestions are more than appreciated. Many thanks

Superglue (CA) works great for this.

Re: Top Studio RC213V exhaust pipe

Welcome to the forum Peter

Excellent start so far - I will follow your thread as this kit an detail set is next up on my build schedule -
I also have the Zero paints set and the Decalcas windscreen and the Top Studio chain set for my build.
There is a non-fogging CA zap glue that is good for PE and it doesn't "fog" or leave that "white" residue on Photo-etch - check you local hobby shop for it.

Cheers
John

Re: Top Studio RC213V exhaust pipe

so more updates, I painted more parts today, cowlings, pipes, frames...

The heart of RC213V is on its shape

Rear Suspension

Testing the cowlings after I put the magnets in, that would allow the cowlings be snap on easily

Peter the updates from 10-23-19 and 10-24-19 are still not displaying?? you can see them because they are from your account.

Can anyone else see these photos from the last 2 updates??

Tried logging out and back in again - still cannot view photos from last 2 updates

Re: Top Studio RC213V exhaust pipe

Hi John, sorry for the attachments are not displaying properly. I fixed the issues.

I applied decals to some parts today. To be honest. That was not an easy task for such a new builder like me. However what you get in the end would be more than great. Enjoying some pictures.

Re: Top Studio RC213V exhaust pipe

Thanks John. This is my first build so I could not expect so much perfections in it. Just try my best to build it.
