Exaust Tips
Ok, when I get my VR4, one of the things I'm going to change when modding it are the exaust tips. I don't really like the big circular ones, I much prefer the look of the wide/oval ones. I've done a little looking around and have mostly found tips for single exaust pipe, but as we all know, our cars have dual pipes on both sides, now ultimately I'd love to re-route my pipes to the middle of the rear and have four wide/oval tips in the middle. But, for now....I just wanna know if anyone here knows of wide/oval tips made for dual pipes, or am I going to have to go further back into the exaust system to get what I want? Cause if I do, I'll just do the center thing like I want. Any comments are welcome, please just don't flame me for doing something different....

Re: Exaust Tips
Just as a visual, here's what I have in mind when I'm thinking center exaust. Except with the wide/oval tips, and on a 3gkt

Re: Exaust Tips
Good luck finding a shop that will do that as a custom job. I don't know of any oval shaped mufflers...although you could look on ebay. But as far as having oval pipes, I think you'll have a hard time finding them, and as far as finding a place that will mount them like that...I think you'll have a hard time. So while it's a nice idea...I honestly don't know how much luck you will have.

Re: Exaust Tips
Well, here's a couple of examples of what I've found as far as the actual piping, but getting it done IS another story
or I just want to be a lil different, I swear, only a little.... Actually, I was lookin at the back of my car the other day and visualizing where they would look better (sides or middle) and the rear of the 99 has that little fake under spoiler with the sides kinda cut out, which I've never noticed. The wide exhaust might fit in nicely....

Well I'd say go to some shops that look like they care about what they are doing, tell them what you want, and if they seem like they want to help, then do it. It will probably be pretty expensive.

Re: Exaust Tips
I wish I were able to draw/sketch real well, so I could draw this stuff out, or a computer program to design it in 3d without having a freakin college major in it
