Got my Ass handed too me by an SRT NEON
This past weekend i raced an SRT neon from a stoplight. Wow, the damn thing flew over me. I have a 94 SL ATX with a Cat Back system only. This Neon absolutely handed me my ass. I talked to him in town after all of this. He told me he beat a VR4 town at the track a couple months ago. He has an all stock 2003 SRT Neon, AWD. The damn thing can fly....... He was then talking shit about VR4's , which really pissed me off. I about lost it with this guy and denied his story about beating a VR4. I almost even called my buddy in town with his 92 VR4 ($20,000 dumped into it, very very fast.) hahaha , he would of put the stop to his ass....

Yea, ur SL is no match for an SRT4. especially being an atx. a mtx SL wouldnt hold up to one either. A VR4 can beat an SRT4. I knew a guy who had an SRT4 an he had never beaten a VR4, but can smoke an SL any day. From what he was sayin, the VR4 can kill his SRT4. Im wondering how a modded SRT4 would do...

wtf?? Yea dude that's bullshit, and also that he beat the VR4 at the track??? either the driver really sucked, or it was a Base/SL with VR-4 emblems, because I don't belive it. SOrry that the guy's being an ass, but that's life, call up your buddy with the VR4, and put that guy in his place man!

I've never had problems with one, and as was said above, they are all FWD.

You guys do know you can order staged mopar upgrades for the SRT4 right? In its "stock"(stage 3 or 4) form it can run mid 12's. So if that was the case he very well could have beat a VR4.

I'm aware of the mopar stages...but I don't think many people would refer to even a stage 2 as stock.
