Escape Vs. Escape

So, these damn things are work cars. I met up with one of my friends for lunch near my house at Wendys since we were both done for the day. We got off the free way and pulled up at the first light. We decided to employ two different techniques. He was using a brake stand while I was performing a neutral drop. These things have a rev limiter in neutral at 4,500 RPM. I like to call it launch control.

The light turns green and he squealed his tires, I got a good launch. I pulled on him from the start and we made it about n 1/8th of mile before hitting another red. It's on again! We go with the same result. I shut it down with almost a bus length on him.

Ha nice race! I'm sure the tranny loves you for that "launch control" method!

Re: Escape Vs. Escape

Oh, I'm sure it does.

No matter, I get a new one in about 10 months. He was so mad though. His Escape is newer than mine. I had the weight advantage with just my tools, laptop, and two parts with a 1/4 tank of gas. He had just filled up and his car was fill of crap. Plus he stated that by comparison he's a fat ass since I only weigh 180.

LULZ. So, I guess racing slow cars can be fun.
