2004 Axiom questions (new here)
I'm looking at 2004 Axioms and wonder what is unique just about this one model year. I know they have the direct injection engine but don't know what that all entails for part compatibility. Most parts on the web give a date range up to July 2003, which I'm assuming doesn't cover the 2004. If so, it would make the '04 almost impossible to find parts for!
Does the 2004 share the same transmission (and potential tranny problems) as the earlier years? Anything to look out for? Any vendor recommendations for parts, aftermarket, performance, etc? Anyone swapped the variable shocks with KYB or similar? Thanks! |

Re: 2004 Axiom questions (new here)
Not all 04' were direct injection. The there was a DI option on the Rodeo in 04 too. The tranny in the 04 is a Toyota and it has a dipstick. This tranny is a lot better then the previous one.
This board if very slow. If you are looking for more info post at: http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/
