Just curious what active aero is....someone please explain this to me...

At higher speeds the front and rear spoilers lift up so that there is a bit more down force.

Yea, down in the front is what I meant. Its mostly just a cool little thing that dosent do too much in reality.

actually you would be surprised...some russian guy put his vr4 in a wind tunnel and got some good results

Wow, thats awesome. Honeslty i never even heard of active aero.. but it is a good idea and can help a little bit in that last few seconds or whatever.

It's not that the spoiler does -.07, that isn't important...it's that paired with the front airdam, they make the entire car have an overall aerodynamic lift of zero. The coefficients vary with speed, but the overall lift always remains 0.

Nope, you read that wrong. The drag changed by 0, the lift has deffinatly changed.

I dont know what you mean what year it really works at, its suposed to work for all vr4's up to 95 at least I think its 95
