How does the distilled water flowing in the engine?
Hi.
After making a flush to the cooling system there are some quantity of tap water that stays in the engine block.(no drain plug available). I would like to know what will happen when i pour 2 gallons of distilled water through the upper radiator hose(while the thermostat is disconnected)? Will the distilled water flow directly to the water pump and out to the bottom radiator hose(without passing through the cylinder head and engine block passages? Or it will flow first through the cylinder head, after that will flow to the engine block and in the end will flow through the water pump to the radiator bottom hose(disconnected)? Will the distilled water will push all the tap water out of the engine block or just mix with the tap water?if it doesn't,why? Thanks in advance. |

If the thermostat is disconnected the flow path of the cooling system is not complete, so with no drain plug, that may have something to do with it.
