What does Scania mean?
Ive been very blank about this but, what does Scania mean under the SAAB logo?

Scania is Saabs partner. In the begining Saab paired up with Scania Truck company. They were Partners until 2002.

Scania is one of the worlds largest heavy truck manufacturers. Then Scania-Vabis joined airplane and car manufacturer Saab in 1969, they split up in 1995. Scania was however not removed from the logo until later.
Saabs lago was based on Scanias and was redesigned by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd (the same artist that designed the non violence symbol http://www.un.org/events/peace_day99/non_violence.jpg ), earlier the Saab logo was an airplane in profile. |
