Creaking Noise At Front-End
There's a loud cricking sound coming from the front (suspension?) of my Pacifica.
It ONLY occurs when I come to a stop and: 1) change direction (forward to reverse or reverse to forward). 2) turn the steering wheel. 3) accelerate. So, if I back out of my driveway, I'll hear it once I hit the street and start turning the steering wheel, and again when I switch the car into drive AND turn the steering wheel AND accelerate away. I could drive forever (starting and stopping all the while) and never hear the creaking noise again UNLESS I was to stop - put the car into reverse, turn the steering wheel and then accelerate. The Dealer was baffled and my local mechanic too. Any advice out there? Thanks, John |

Thanks for the advice; I'll make a note and look into those areas.
