2005 Dodge 1500 Manual tranny problem

Hi, I am somewhat of a newbie here. I have a 2005 Dodge 1500 v-6 with 6 speed manual trans. I am having a problem shifting from 1st to 2nd and 3rd. When I shift into these gears, there is kind of grinding and it wont go into gear until the rpm's come way down. I already checked the fluid in the master and slave cylinder and they are fine. The truck only has 44,000 miles on it.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ray
