i think thats really all he needs, what speakers are you running? do you have deadening? i don't see a point in spending all that money on substage, but i don't know if you already upgraded all the other stuff. the a/b class amps have better sq than class d amps. he doesn't have to use a/b to run the brahma, but with the oz's they will work very well.

Re: SUBS: Rockford Fosgate PUNCH vs. Audiobahn

$3,000 for, subs, amps, compacitor, 7" pop-out DVD player-headunit-in-dash reciever, speakers(3 or 4-way), tweeters, wires & cables, fuse distributers, connectors, enclosure, and all installation accesrrories. First of all, is all of this possible to get for $3,000 maximum? and if not is all of this necessary? and where is the best and cheapest place to get all of what's necessary? Thanks.

Re: SUBS: Rockford Fosgate PUNCH vs. Audiobahn

First off you don't need a capacitor. It's totally usless just upgrade your electrical system. Also don't get 3 ways or 4 ways get A nice component set for the front the you can do 2 or 3 ways in the back for rear fill. You said rap is your choice of music so I would definately go with a low tuned ported box for yout subs. What kind of vehicle do you have? Can you fit 15's? I will reccomend your substage when I find that out. As far as components A Koda set from adire audio would be nice.....xxx set from resonant engineering would be awsome also look at the DLS UR6 set.....it can be gotten for around 350 and I can say from personal experience that it is AWSOME. For rear fill check out some MB Quart and JL Audio 6.5's or 6x9's.....for a component amp a linear power would be great.....JL 300/2's can be had for about 250 used that would also be a nice choice Tru tech is nice but too expensive US amps are great..... For your rear fill just get a small amp of a decent brand or just power them off of your head unit.... As far as a 7" flip out take your pick on ebay from Alpine, pioneer and eclipse....For your electrical upgrades get a 200 amp or greater alternator and at least one yellow top. Like i said let me know what will fit then Ill reccomend sub stage.....probably a couple nine.1's from ED and either 2 12" or 15" sx subs from resonant engineering....which should hae good enough sound quality in rap without the need to go to an xxx or brahma.

Re: SUBS: Rockford Fosgate PUNCH vs. Audiobahn

Get your subs from www.reaudio.com Their phone number is on the site call them up and order ur subs. SE or SX line will work great. For the Jetta I would go with 2 12's or 1 15 how big is the trunk? Also you will want to build your own custom box 99% of prefabs are no good. As for amps if your goin with a pair of SE12's look at the soundstream vangogh 1600.2 (1600 watts)on ebay should be <300 bucks. For a pair of SX 12's get a couple hifonics bx1000d's (one for each sub) For one sx 15 get a hifonics brutus bx1500d (will do about 1200 watts). For a xxx15 get the van gogh. Bx1000D's are around 215 and the bx1500d's are around 260. For you screen/head unit ebay should have some pioneers for a good price look on there. For components look around for some CDT component sets or get an MB Quart set off of ebay. JL 300/2's can be gotten on ebay for 250ish and that is a great component amp. With those amps you'll be fine off of a big 3 upgrade.

Re: SUBS: Rockford Fosgate PUNCH vs. Audiobahn

ebay has a ton of brand new car audio stuff. narrow your search to new items only. as long as you buy new and from a seller with a very high rating, you are very unlikely to get screwed. i suppose if your budget is high though you might as well buy from a dealer but about the only benefit this will have is a factory warranty
