SV650s fairings
Hey I'm about to purchase my first bike in a few months it will be a Suzuki SV650s. I thought that I never would have found a beginner bike that looked so good, but it has no fairings on the sides which makes it look butt ugly. Does anyone know of a company that can make some custom fairings for my new bike.

Re: SV650s fairings
It has fairings. They are a factory option, you can order them from suzuki.
They look like this: Are you buying new? How much are you paying for it? I want to get a 650S but I'm finding it's out of my price range. |

Re: SV650s fairings
Fairings are just good for retaining heat and getting damaged. The SV is a great looking naked. Never understood where people think an engine is ugly...best part of the bike.
But you gotta ride it, so go with your gut. You'll love that bike, it does it all well.

Re: SV650s fairings
I like some fairings, but some bikes were made to be naked. I had a '95 GS500E and it looks better without farings than the new ones with bodywork in my opinion. However, a CBR looks good with the farings...its all about design. If you're not going to keep the engine clean or put chrome or some other sort of accessory on the engine, than maybe its best hidden :-p
