AC bypass pulley

Can someone tell me why I cannot find an a/c bypass pulley for a 2003 impala 3.4. I find them for a 2002 but have been told there is not one for a 2003.

Re: AC bypass pulley

The bearings in the compressor are shot and I do not want to pay to replace it.

Re: AC bypass pulley

Used pulley and bearing from as scrap yard- or a core from a dealer...would work...still have to pull old pump off- they'd charge you same as "paying someone to replace it."

Re: AC bypass pulley

the 2002 bypass should work. I had a 2003 3.4L and to my knowledge for the motor 2000 - 2005 should work( 0n the upper intake manifold is stamped 00-05) or get a shorter serpentine belt and remove the compressor. ...5 months later
