if you don't know what parts you need there's no way in hell you'll know how to install it.

First hand feremost, it will cost in da 8k-12k i to do an RB26DETT .. me Uncle Jamal ave to use da Rb25DET trans, since hte RB26DET uses a 4wd system.

Thun there's da custom stuff, custom down pipe, custom motor mounts, or me Uncle Jamal can use da X-meba hand it bolts up .. but thun me Uncle Jamal ave otha cleanerce issuse .. is not a walk-in da park swap, but hits do-able ... hand me Uncle Jamal ave to do da wiring.

click here. Then, once you actually do some research, maybe you will get a nice reply to that blunt question. Until then, find out for yourself.

I will tell you this though; there is no way that you will be able to perform the swap. Ever. Just by the way you asked your question, I am convinced that you do not posess the fundemental mechanical knowledge to do it. If you want an RB26, go buy a skyline.

So... since we're on the subject, and this thread's going no where fast...

Got any pics of RB26DETTs is 240SXs? (hoping to see in S13 f/b )

Also, specifically, any pics of the tranny where the driveshaft back to the front end isn't? I've never seen that...

rb26deTT WON'T FIT RIGHT IN B/C of the twinturbo setup.you need to change to single turbo and use the RB25 tranny.

Would that be better Mr. Mod?

What?

I mean: Did Nissan sell a FR car w/ a RB26DETT, or did the FR Skylines never have RB26DETTs?

Wonder which tranny Nismo uses for the JGTC, then...

The only Skylines with the RB26DETT are all wheel drive. Technically they are 4 wheel drive because the all wheel engagement can be turned on or off. So if you are going to use a RB25 tranny and switch to a single turbo, whats the point of having an RB26 over a RB25? An extra .1 liter? You might as well get an RB25 because it obviously uses the Rb25 tranny and already has single turbo. And to make up for the .1 liter loss(not that it matters), you could spend that extra 4k you saved by getting the RB25 instead of the RB26(and buying that RB25 tranny and perfoming the single turbo conversion) and make the RB25 a bat escaping from hell. My two cents.

I don't think they sold a FR Skyline with the RB26.You are thinking about the RB25 powered Skylines.THOSE are FR

Tranny used for the JGTC?A very expensive one...
