The highest level of the rapid prototyping. Very impressive.

I have a From1 as well ... cheap printer, but it doesn't even come close to this.
Dang! That Form1 sounds pretty useless Gulf. Let me know when you get tired of it gathering dust. I'll buy the ol' thing and give it a nice home.

I was curious about the Envisiontec Aureus and found this data sheet if anyone else is interested:

I find this thread really interesting. I hope some day more of us can have this option instead of just buying what model manufacturers decide to produce.

Well ... I want to take it even a step further. I believe there can be a printing network for model cars. Only hi-res machines and the right materials.
For those who know how to 3D design model cars, I'm willing to print them!!!

I'm making 2 cars, one for the Rapidpro fare in Holland, one for the machine manufacturer.

Just some quick and dirty shots, model needs to be finished ...

That printing really looks great...Your build is also really nice I can see.

This could be a model kit game changer in a few years.

Not much to say ... it's FINISHED! World's first entirely 3D printed model car in 1/43 scale.
