JDM Rear Bumper Lip on USDM Bumper
Hey
I just received my JDM Rear Bumper lip and I was wondering if anyone on here has installed it on the USDM rear bumper. Did you have to modify? Let me know Thanks

i do believe you are going to have to chop the lip up for it to be able to fit the usdm bumper, but wait till EFLS/VtEC gets on here im pretty sure he has his on a usdm rear bumper and im sure he would be more then happy to share with you how he did it

I put the lip up to my bumper and and the small peice fits almost perfect. Maybe its the year of your car versus mine. The other side where the long piece goes does fit too big by about and inch.
EFLSVTEC you were not able to install it then?

thought about it, but unless they're the real mugen ones then I'll wait. I actually almost bought one on ebay for cheap like $45 plus shipping. I was the top bidder but the seller backed out at the last minute...what a creep, probably thought he'll get a lot of bids but didnt...I'm working on my suspension next. New energy bushings, rear sways and maybe new set of coilovers and shocks.

MyFirst4G, if you're serious about the exhaust, I might sell it soon. It's 2 inch diameter tubing and I need a 2 1/4 inch. I'll let it go for $350 shipped only on AF or you at least. Used it for 6 months. I believe they go for at least $475 plus tax and shipping if you find one.
Ami, I plan on taking new pics by end of the week and send em to you. I will clean and prep it for the carshow next weekend so that'll be a good time. BTW, finally brought the car home last night and managed to finish a tank of gas driving it around. I wanted to actually drive it last night but it was pouring rain out. I need at least 5 more tanks of gas to finish the break-in period. The motor runs sweet and smooth and very responsive. I'm almost tempted to floor the damn thing. Hit Vtec a couple of times and the new humm is a nice change from the LS. :flash:

Soon as the weather clears, I know I'd want to go somewhere too...It's really more fun driving this car especially with the new motor. I just also reregistered on SCCA for SoloII autocross this season. Street prepared class. Looks like I'm going back to racing!:flash:
