sanding primer coat

i put the first couple coats of laquer primer on my truck's cab a month or two ago and its been warmer lately here in nebraska (a whole 45 degrees) so i have been prepping for the next coat with glazing putty and general block sanding. heres where the question comes into play...

if i were to sand a certain area so that it is ready for the next coat, but had to wait a month or two due to the temperature/weather in this wierd winter, could i simply wipe the surface with a prep cleaner and tack and paint, or would i have to re-scuff the surface again?

i have never really thought about it until now, so i figured i better make sure and do it right the first time lol. im hoping i can just clean and paint and not bother sanding since its been sanded already. i just dont know if there would be any reason why i would have to re-sand.
lol right about now im wishing i could afford to have a good shop paint all my crap for me, but alas im still in high school and working at a local mcdonalds, so i dont think money supplies would hold out for very long (150 bucks a week usually, pretty crappy lol)

Re: sanding primer coat

lol maybe that was too fluffed up. all i wanted to know is

if i sand my current coat of primer now, but have to wait to re-coat for a month or two for some reason, can i just paint it then without sanding again, or will i have to "re-scuff" the coat i already sanded months before?

common sense tells me that i can just use a cleaner on it and recoat without sanding again, but i wanted to make sure lol
