Mark, which car are you going to build the T70 as? I only ask because I'm about to build mine as the Sid Taylor/Denny Hulme car. I'm having major problems finding period mech ref photos. I've located the present owner and even he doesn't have any!

Sorry to go OT but PM doesn't work for me here.

I have no idea at this time, or whether I'll build it out of the box or detail it up. Several other projects are in front of that list... - Mark

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Got the "spare tire" mounted...

Here's a couple old shots of the "spare" for those who may not have seen it before...

And the headlights are ready to be mounted. SMS Hi-Def C/F on the rims... - Mark

Wow. Did you use an end mill to machine the slot? Are they threaded or dummy screws? I think the smallest bolt I've machined is about .030 and thats was a little challenging to keep from losing. Your screws look fantastic. Do you have scale thread lock for it?

Oh...do I win anything for guessing the right size?

No, nothing high tech like that. Old school with an X-acto knife. I don't have an end mill that small.
Scale Loctite? Yep, but it is also called Krazy glue.
I can machine hex head bolts that small now, but this was what it asked for... - Mark

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Not to be a stickler, but can you find those bezels in CF? I mean, if you've got enough money, anything is possible. But are these modeled after real parts or is this Seven a "Speed costs money, how much do you want to spend?" sort of car?
