Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

rallymaster, your opinion is fully understood and I appreciate it. You are brilliant rally-fan who helps us a lot in developing rally-kits.

I would like to hear your opinions and further, but I would like to know if there are people who like modern trucks and would like to have scale model of it

massive mitsu engine. hat off for that guys. I would like to have GT3 R35 for example, and what about SUV, just look how few kits are in completed gallery.

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

Firun,

For sure this model is very original, but what about the market ?
How much for a full kit, 120-140 Euro ?...Perhaps more ?
The question is : How many modelers are ready to put this money for a Ford Pick-up ?
If you spend lot of time and money to make this model to sell only 10, is it really a good idea ? I think no, especially for your wallet.

Just my 2 cents

Cool idea, but trucks have turned so ugly. The raptor is the one of few newer trucks i like.
Although venturing out into other forms of race or transport will only benifit your company IMO.

The engine is awesome. Need to save now!!

That was also one of the key point I thought about when saying

... SUV cars are to me the typical subject to be let to plastic brands and diecast !! because that's what they will be among, whereas your rally kits or transkits won't be compared to anything else existing...

Dexter Models, thanks for your opinion! You are absolutely right about market and supply-and-demand correlation. That's the reason I'm asking if there would be at least 10 buyers for the kit excluding me, and as I see this topic isn't very popular, although the pick-up trucks are one of the most popular vehicles in US.

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

First of all, it is all about the relation of a model with the modeler's mind. For some of us, the rally models have the highest value-while we build them they bring us emotions and thoughts about the great drivers behind the wheel of those monsters with 500 hp and more.., driven on the heavy and super fast special stages leaving a cloud of dust in the noses of the overexcited fans, unforgettable sound of powerful engines and a "fast" red beam of the tail lights mixed with pure emotion behind them.....

for some others this is probably some drift car with a smell of hot melting tires and insanely oversteering back....

or it could be an "out of space" prototype, seen on pages of the newspaper or a magazine, or even seen for the first time at the most famous Motorshow....and so on and so on...

but those people are all dependent of something expereienced or seen, that left strong memories in the mind, i.e. they all bring a smaller or bigger, but always very bright piece of passion and emotion which remains in the modeler's mind, sometimes forever....

After all, probably for the business the question is whether someone would buy a "cool car" and not would he buy a model and build it putting some emotion into..

So, it is up to you to decide..

Regards,
Vitan Kasnakov

Dear customers, thanks for your overwhelming interest in our products!
We have written about PayPal support recently, but due to high interest and large amount of payments accepted via PayPal we have stumbled on PayPal limitations on accepting money for not-U.S. residents.
We would highly recommend to purchase our products via bank transfers or other supported payment options, because PayPal has some limitations for us for several further months.
Thanks for your understanding!

Sorry if it was answered earlier but I didn't see it--is this engine for the street EVO or the Rally version?

Re: ModellingMaster.com - transkits, photo-etched and decals

Wow! I left for a week on vacation and this thread absolutely blew up!

Can one of the ModelingMaster guys let me know the specifics of payment they accept to order some of the EVO engine rally kits? I'd really love to purchase some.

PM and e-mail sent. Thanks!
