Another 5L Deal

Ok, a 1988 Mustang 5.0, Automatic, 2.5 Exhaust, new suspension, needs starter but still runs strong, 200,000kms $1100CAD

What do you guys think? i wouldnt mind it for this price, even if its an automatic. Also, when i started it, it idled pretty high, then went to about 1000rpms and sat there, normal? its very cold out, could that be why?
thanks guys.

i may not know too much on how them new 5-os work but i do know that it 86 ford went to EFI, no choke on them. i do believe that is normal. its to get the car to warm up a bit quicker as most new cars these days do the exact same thing.

Seems like a good deal all considering in the shape the car in in. The idle seems kinda of high and it should be around 750 rpms stock, it could just need a good tune up and some normal maintance to get it running stop notch. Get some pictures and look it over from top to bottom before you decide anything.
