Street Vette

I don't know if I posted this kit or not but I decided to try out my new camera, and maybe to brag about it.
Camera:
- 5x digital zoom
- 3.1 mp
So I hope I can take better pics now. So on to the Corvette. Its the Revell Z-06. The seats have been traded for a racing seat with sparco 4 pt belts and the passenger seat has been swapped for a Rockford Fosgate amplifier, Subwoofer and a bottle of Nitrous. Hood was missing so i said screw it and did it without it. Heres some pics. Comments welcome.

Supposed to say BOTLFED

Hope you like it. I had fun building it and also took 3rd in a school model contest(3rd only because judge said hood was missing and the rear leaf spring fell off... stupid judges.)

just to clarify, those arent the valve covers. They are simple plastic pieces that bolt on to cover the coils that are mounted on the valve covers and clean up the bay.

The rockford stuff kicks ass. It's too bad revell messed up the kit by making the wheels too small and it ride too high.

Re: Street Vette

looks great, congrats on placing! what paint is that? it looks just like my dads C5, and I'd like to have some paint in that color.

It is kind of a decal. I opened a paint file with 1200x1200 dpi and drew every bit of it, then printed(on paper) and trimmed it to fit.

Its a few peices of flat plastic with a grooved top and foil tape on the sides with another RF decal.

The blue is the Anodized blue. Its a very cool color. I've used it on 3 cars. Thanks for the comments and questions. Maybe I'll do a how to on those Amps...got a RF 1500x2 in the works too for my Dodge Ram D50.
