Toyota Vitz Window issue.

Hello everyone!

Please help me, my friend just purchased a second hand Toyota Vitz, and when the front left window goes down it makes a nasty banging sound. I have taken the door panel off to find the rail it slides in was all bent out of shape, got a new one and replaced it but the problem still persists. Upon further inspection, I found that the door hinge is actually hitting the window for a reason I am unable to figure out. Maybe the door was forcibly pulled open? I have attached a picture of the part replaced and a video of the problem.

Is the hinge bent? Does it need replacing? Can you provide some info on whats going on here? It would appear that the original window rail was actually damaged by the door not opening, and someone has forced the door open, the hinge has caught the rail and bent it.

Thanks in advance!
