check engine light
I have a 1990 Z, auto, non-turbo. Noticed my car hesitating/sputtering a bit and the check engine light came on. Looking for ideas of where to start checking or a list of systems/problems that the check engine light pertains to...any help appreciated.

re: check engine light
OK, found a list of codes for check engine light but now looking for instructions on how to find/check for the code that kicked mine off. Found 240zx instructions (pulling off ECU and turning a screw to count blinks) but can't find for 300zx.
Thanks |

first you need to pull codes form the ecu which is located under the carpet in the passenger side where the feat are, to get a complete list of how to do it go here /http://zhome.com/ and search in the how to's section, it talks about hestiation and stumble problems there as well, this should tell you everything you need to know
