95 Grand Prix 3100 hesitation/bucking
The auto in question has 150K miles on it and recently I replaced the plugs nad wires. While driving on the highway in OD @ ~2000RPM the car will begin to buck when I begin to accelerate. Once it downshifts it seems to run fine as the RPM increases. Also replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump last summer.
I am hoping it is not tranny related. Any one have any thoughts? Thanks. |

Is the check engine light on, Had a 92 sunbird GT 3.1L that did this, it was the o2 sensor, but the check engine light was on

Re: 95 Grand Prix 3100 hesitation/bucking
Went with Autolite double platinum plugs and AC Delco wires. I checked for vacuum leaks this morning found none then went for a drive. After the initial work I used a bottle pf ISO heat thinking there could be water in the fuel, and today it seems to be driving quite a but better. My son normally drives it so I told him to use another bottle on the next fill up.
