SEMA 2011: Honda Introduces Si HFP, Supercharged Accord Prototype
If you've been waiting for Honda to wow you with their upcoming offerings, your wait may be over.
The company used SEMA as the backdrop to introduce some new Civic offerings and a prototype Accord that sports a supercharger and 333hp – more than 60 additional horses in comparison to their standard V6 model. The story from AutoWeek: Quote:
These all sound like great additions to the Honda family, despite some hefty price tags for each (and I'm sure the Accord won't come cheap, either). I especially liked how there was collaboration between Honda Factory Performance and Honda Performance Development in testing the abilities of the new Civic Si models, which they haven't done in the past. Hopefully the extra attention to detail will render some good results for the company and its customers alike.

Found some footage of the racing Civic: http://youtu.be/03Sc3SR1b9s
Looks like fun! Now is HFP a US only thing? Looks like it's the US arm of the company supporting the US market in an attempt to replicate what Mugen does in Japan, Europe and Oceania.
