Unhappy Put Talon in 1st gear at 50 mph

By accident to avoid an accident, I was going about 50 mph in overdrive. Not thinking and needing to avoid an accident I put the vehicle in 1st gear and hit the gas. The car performed perfectly for about 3 seconds then the dash board light up and car shut off. Now when I turn the ignition with key all I get is a whining sound and the engine doesn't turn at all. The car spit out some oil on passenger's side which is side trans is on but trans didn't do it. The fluid is oil. Sounds like bending spring not making contact with fly wheel. Starter on opposite side. Whining sound is coming from area of crankshaft on driver's side. Cams don't turn or anything. Dash lights as follows; radiator, oil and battery-no check engine light. Help please.

After checking timing belts to see if they were broken or damaged I found this on the timing belt.
What could possibly make those marks on my timing belt?
