its a motor tuned by spoon sports, the japanese tuning company. generally a motor that has been given the full spoon treatment is meant for track only use, and is rebuilt often. Most people that say they are getting spoon motors are 16 yr old kids who just saw fast and the furious, and have done no research on the subject themselves

Quick definitions-
All the engines you were talking about are Honda/Acura made enigines that are just made for different cars. The b18 is engine is the engine for integra, the B16 is the engine for civics and the H22 is the engine for the prelude (god rest it's soul...it was a hell of a car, never should of discontinued them). They all have different displacements and HP. There are many websites that'll give you info on the engines. Just do a search for any of those and a lot of stuff will come up. Like kidrocket said, the spoon engine is just an engine tuned by Spoon sports. It is definantly for track use only. People who put it in a daily driver either have a lot of money to spend or just enjoy fixing the constant problems you'll end up having. And furthermore, i've heard of those things going for around 10 grand and they do nothing to that engine that a guy around where you live probably could do for MUCH MUCH less. The spoon engine (and all other spoon stuff) is so high priced because your just paying for a name. It's just like buying a pair of NIKE sunglasses. You can find the same damn thing without the check mark on it for about 50 bucks less. Damn Fast and the Furious...Damn it to hell!

Yeah that's bull that someone would have a spoon motor.
lol I'm only 14 and a serious enthusiast too. Spoon motors are like only for pro-racers or one of those people that drive cars and give their ratings are probably the few people that would be able to drive a spoon motor. Can you get spoon motor in North America?? I haven't heard of it. I don't like the Fast and the Furious it was a stupid movie. |

Uhhhh, yes you can get Spoon motors in the US.
Besides, you want to talk about "JDM" motors... Ill take a Mugen Honda MF-308 motor please. 3 liter V8 that pushes out 455hp ! The motor you never knew Honda had ... :monkeypis DOMESTICS

spoon motors are n/a motors with 11+C/R. whenever people refer to JDM+Hondas, they're usally referring to spoon for some reason.
