98 Ram 1500 Transmission problems
Trans was operating perfect. Started up no movement forward or reverse. Put lever in forward or reverse and you hear a loud winning sound like splines are wiped off of a shaft. put in park sound is gone. Pan is clean no metal at all. When you start up and put in gear can feel slight applying of clutches. Any ideas?

Re: 98 Ram 1500 Transmission problems
I used to have to put my '92 in neutral until the oil pressure built up then it would go in gear and drive normal.
