T56 Swap
Can someone brainstorm w/ me what would be necessary to swap in a 94-97 F-body T-56 into my 1968 Firebird which currently has a 3 on the tree. If anyone has seen this done to a first-gen firebird, their input would be great. I have heard of a few T-56 swaps done to first gen camaros but they usually are a part of a complete LS1 swap. I also wonder what complication would come into play when making an LT1 T-56 compatible with a Pontiac engine. Would an adaptor bellhousing be the only necessary solution? All help is appreciated, if you find any examples, a link would be great.
