lanzar is overrated, but if you went with that amp you would need the 4 ohm version of the kicker.

I vote no. the specs you put don't seem right and I would try to get a lot closer to that 1000 rms.

The most that amp will push is 1000 watts Max. Your sub wants 1000 watts all the time and 2000 max. And he means the name is over rated.

Well a friend of mines has this same 15", he knows nothing about amps or speakers, it just came with the car. The sub is perfect. All im asking is can this amp do the job. This speaker is a dual 4 ohm, and when they say bridged, do I have to wire both sides of the speak as one, and both of the channels as one?

So this picture should be your sub. Now I think in your specs it should say 1 channel with 1000 watts MAX should be 2 ohm. So if your speaker is indeed a dual 4 ohm and you wire it like the pic it will present a 2 ohm load to your amp. Which you will have 1000 watts MAX. It will work with your speaker but I don't recommend it.

So basically, the 4 ohm speaker = 2ohm load and it wil be recieving 800 watts? I'm just trying to find the right amp for this speaker

Re: 15" Kicker S15L7 D2

Do you already own this amp or are you looking for a new one? I used a jbl 600.1 gti which ran about 580rms. And I had a s12l5 which needed 600 rms. If you are looking for a new amp I would definetly not buy that one. I would look for something with 1000 rms or something closer.
