More HP and Ft/lbs out of the smallest s10

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen, I've got the smallest of all the S10s. Mines an '85 S10 pickup with the Isuzu 1.9 2 bbl carb. SOHC, 4 spd manual, standard cab shortbed fleetside. (I wish I knew the rear end ratio so I can get a posi back there) It comes stock with 84 ponies and 101 ft/lbs of torque. Not bad for a really small 1/2 pickup, but there is always room for improvment.

I have done a full Royal purple fluid change (engine, tranny, diff, and purple ice coolant additive) and have welded in a Magmaflow stright through muffler. A magnaflow Cat. will be welded in within a month since the one I have is a factory cat. and I would like to past emmisions.

I have some ideas, but I'd like others. What would be som reliable wayd of increasing the power and torque of this truck while keeping it naturally aspirated? (I like the turbo idea, but I truely don't have the money and knowledge of turboing the engine. I'm not in the mood to blow a bearing or piston head.)
