929 help

runs great till hot looses all power will only go 10 kliks till you let it cool i have changed everything from fuel pump to mass airflow sencer, fuel press reg, fiter, coolant temp switch, coil really stuck can any one help me ?

your description leads me to the igniter, if their is one. i cant remember if their is one or not but those things can be heat sensitve. Look into it and let us know.

The pickup in the distributor. Try heating it up with a hair dryer if this causes the problem buy a rebuilt at nopi. You should have 12v to dist with plug unplugged. It will run 6v as it switches to fast for the meter.
