VR abs diff

Hi, I have a Vr v8 with a noisy diff. (IRS) I have bought another centre off a mate but my car has abs and the new centre doesn't. Does any one know how to change over the tone wheels? (Tone wheels are the bits in the sides of the centre that look like gears) Any help would be great.
Mark.
