Hello,
My wife and I are looking for a good used realiable car. Originally we were hoping to purchase for around $4000, however, we weren't able to find anything that really excited us for that price. Here's a list of some cars that we are currently looking at. What would be your top 2 choices out of these? Thanks! Again, we are looking for something that would be realiable and wouldn't hurt us too much at the pump. All of these cars are in Texas where we live. I think they are all automatic. I've listed extra features if they have them. Also, any other suggestions are welcome. I've looked at some civics and accords, but haven't found any great prices on any.

The best thing to do is shop around the web. People are jacking the prices up on cars good with gas now.

it has work for me
i bought 2 truckes and one car that way
and the trucks were almost new at the time

Auctions aren't for everybody. You should have at least some minimal knowledge of cars and trucks in general and what to look for that could be wrong with them. Also doing research in advance to know what type of vehicle you may want and any known issues with them, and also current values for these vehicles can help you stay away from those that may have a lot of problems or be too expensive to fix. That can ruin a "good deal" from an auction real quick.

The choice is yours. Pick the one that you like the best. I like comfort and gas mileage.

I recommend searching online classifieds automotive section and print publications such as newspapers and other car publications.

I know there are a lot of online classifieds, but it could save you a ton of money.
