Another masterclass by to-mek! Did you deepen the panel lines with a scriber? Used black wash there? Somehow they caught my attention by how realistic they look.

Re: Alfa Romeo 155 V6 DTM Tamiya 1/24

Of course, I always deepen panel lines with scriber and micro saw. Panel wash is made with very dark base color, I use Revell enamels as they are available locally and easy to wipe off without risk to damage the clearcoat.

I use 2K clearcoat and it can be easily applied too thick so I had some situations in past where panel lines were lost.

My current approach is to:
- rescribe panel lines after all primer coats are done
- apply base coat
- apply thin clear gloss coat only on parts of the body where I have to apply the decals
- apply 2K clearcoat over the top of the decals
- sanding and polishing
- panel wash

Scribing after the primer and local gloss coat under the decals helped me to preserve the panel lines on this model.

Real nice Alfa 155. You put all the right details where they can be seen. Bravo on a fine build.
