New to cars, expect some question you may laugh outloud to

Alright people here it goes.

I see all these performance cars on the road and i constantly go back and forth with deciding on whether i should sell this BMW and go for a Supra that i can just mod out... well no... I'm 17 and I want to drive with class but still have the speed above just the stock power of the car. Basically my question/ need for help is simple... I don't expect to learn everything about installing parts in this car in one day, but i would love the guidance.

I drive a 325XI 2003 Model and I want to add performance parts that will increase acceleration and also just get me that attention

I know theres more to it than just the engine arts (tires etc) but I have all summer to do this so haha why not:P

If there are any really good books that'll help me with installing the parts and just getting to know what I'm doing I'd love that... and if this is the wrong place to be posting this .... my bad lol!

All i want his help with parts i should look for, places that are good to get them from, and again just some guidance on what I should do !!!!

also does it matter if its manual or automatic... because mine is automatic

Do not be embarrassed, at least you are asking questions and there are no dumb questions. The best manual for repair and trouble shooting is the Bentley, a bit pricey (probably find one on Ebay) but well worth the money.

The Bentley has complete how to, trouble shooting, and wiring diagrams. Realoem.com hs good layout of systems and parts, but yu do not need to buy from them. also Roadfly.com is a good site for assistance and has a great search engine as well.
